I’m so excited about this one. I am really liking what I’ve seen so far of the new Great Granite print and I hope to try it in either the CRB or the Pace Setter. I’m somewhat torn though, because they’re also coming out with Wunder Unders and Inspire Crops. So many great pics of this new print!

UPLOAD: Week of July 14th, 2014

Like I’ve said in previous posts, I do intend to cover uploads more often- and this is one of them. I know there’s going to be a lot of excitement surrounding the re-release of the Stride Jacket. I think I will continue to cover the upload in the way that I have been. That is: I post the first post and continually update it as I discover new items or pretty “IRL” (In Real Life) photos of recently released or newly uploaded garments. I am hoping that by making a singular post per upload weekly, I can make it easier for people to search for things.

First things first: I have been on vacation! I wanted to show you the three outfits I brought, in addition to the airplane/ travel clothes I wore on travel days, that are comfy, comfy, but not something I took pictures of.

Second: I did not cover this weeks upload, I won’t be covering them all, but also: It was so boring. There were a few tops released, but that was about it. Lululemon said that the new Savasana wraps would be coming out in July- let’s hope they arrive next week. Even “We Made Too Much” was boring this week, with only re-stocks of things that were already on markdown. I went to my local store, bored from the disappointing upload and left with a Wamo Camo CRB on markdown. Have y’all purchased anything recently? I’m loving Bruised Berry, but I pretty much have everything I want from that colorway as of right now- although I am tempted by the heathered Swiftlies.

UPDATE: I see that the Stride Jackets are coming back this week, and I think that’s a lot of excitement for many Lulu addicts. I would prefer them to be released in more colorful patterns, but I think they’ll be gorgeous anyways.

This wasn’t my favorite upload ever, but there were some goodies and some new items I’d like to share.

I like the front of this tank, but I’d prefer a more simplistic back, with fewer straps.

I liked this photo because it has the new Rollin’ With My Om’ies tank in black, over the new Twist Bra Long Line in Raspberry, as well as the bra on its own. It also features the Bruised Berry Cool Racerback and Hotty Hot Shorts in Sweet Spot Angel Wing/Angel Wing. Honourable mentions go the Camo Wunder Under pants.

I like the look of this tank in the pics, but I can envision myself adjusting a lot, so it seems a little high maintenance for my taste.

I really like the look of this bra, especially in the Deep Zinfandel. I might get it if/ when it goes to mark down.

Things I’m Loving Right Now!

I thought it was time for another instalment of “Things I’m Loving Right Now!” I haven’t done one in a while, and I felt that it was necessary to share these. I am absolutely in Lulu Love with these Inspire Crops.

They’re so gorgeous! However, I recently purchased the Not So Petit Fleur Inspire Crops, which are also made of the Full-On Luxtreme material and I found them to be too stiff. They didn’t hug my curves the way my other Luxtreme Inspire crops do. They fell down a little, and I felt like they might need to be broken in or something. Not like how my other Luxtreme crops fit perfectly the first time I tried them on. I also felt the need to size up, which was fine, it’s just that the Full-On Luxtreme material is not as stretchy as the original Luxtreme. I’m glad I bought these on mark down because I just don’t see me getting a whole lot of use out of them. They’re a very pretty pattern, in my opinion. Even though some people thought that they looked like granite counter top material, I still liked this pattern. They were marked down to $59, so I picked them up. Here they are:

Aren’t they pretty? Too bad they don’t fit as well as other Inspire crops I own. Oh well… Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else felt this way about the Full-On Luxtreme? Do you size up? Do you find it stiffer? Do they fall down on you at all? Are they perfect and you have no idea what I’m talking about? Either way: I would love to hear your opinion!

The Winners of the Hey Lululemon “One More Time” Contest: the Savasana Wrap & the Stride Jacket

HeyLululemon.com had a vote on which styles they should bring back to life and I’m happy to report that BOTH the Savasana Wrap and the Stride Jacket will be making a comeback in 2014. What I particularly enjoyed about this contest is that it proves that Lululemon is listening and it was fun that they basically let us choose what we wanted. I REALLY wanted the Define jacket to come back, but, alas, it was not meant to be. The Define Jacket had made it to the final five, along with the Audrey Jacket, Wandering Yogi Crops and our two champions, but it only received 10% of the vote. The final tally can be viewed here. I hope that Lululemon brings back the other designs anyways, because I really want an Audrey Jacket too! I am writing this post because I recently heard that the Savasana Wrap will be back in stores by July. I LOVED the Savasana Wrap, but I was only ever able to get one online on eBay because I missed them when they were in stores. Here’s a preview:

Another little tidbit of awesomeness is that they’ll be incorporating yoga quotes into the Savasana Wraps somehow, which Lululemon also had a vote on. By the end of the voting, the quote “Breathe Deeply – Practice Kindness” received the most votes.

Hooray! The Fast Track Short has Returned!!!! And Fit Review.

As you’ll recall, (or maybe you won’t 😉 LOL!) I wrote about the Fast Track shorts in my Last Post of Last Year, and I loved them. I know that they didn’t get a lot of love, and they even went to Mark Down last year, but I really liked them. I paid full price for one pair and got another pair on sale. I loved them but most people complained that they a) rode up and b) they were too compressive and pretty much everyone (including myself) had to size up. So far this year, people are saying that they stayed true to size and that they don’t ride up, so perhaps they’ve re-worked the design, as this time around we’re purchasing Fast Track Shorts “2.” I know all the “Camo” ones sold out, but I knew that would happen. I don’t much care for Camo- but I’m going to wait & see if the other ones go one sale so I can grab another pair. If some of the other colour’s sizes sell out- I’ll bite the bullet and pay full price. But if I can save 30%, why not wait it out. It’s still freezing where I am, so it’s not like I’ll get to enjoy then any time soon. If (or rather when) I do buy another pair, I’ll post an update & do an comparison review between this year’s and last year’s model.

Here they are! Lululemon Fast Track Shorts ii in black / angel blue / lullaby

Officially caved! I was hoping to wait for these to go to markdown, but I just ordered this pair… I was going to wait for the sale, but size 4 sold out, they’re actually getting good reviews this time, and there are only two colors, and one is black. So, I figured I’d better jump on these before my size is sold out in them as well, because I won’t buy plain black ones. It’s only been a couple of weeks since these were released but the weather is finally starting to warm up & I might be able to use these babies sooner than I thought! I’ll update with a fit review once they arrive!

UPDATE: I got them in & I prefer this year’s version to last year’s version and am wishing they made them in more colors! The fit is exactly the same and I still feel like these are a “bra” for my butt. The only difference is last year’s version had a 4-inch inseam, and this year’s version have a 5-inch inseam. This change made them even more awesome somehow!

UPDATE: UPLOAD!!! (April 14, 2014) My wish came true! They came out with another colour in the Fast Track shorts this upload!

Race with Grace Pullover Fit & Review

First off, I must say that Lululemon has really outdone themselves. This is quite possibly the best pullover they have ever made, from a features point of view. I’m going to start at the top & go down.

First in front we have a zipper garage, pretty standard, but the zipper is dual and runs both ways. I don’t exactly know when I would use this feature, but it’s available. Then, mesh venting begins under the arms. In the back, there is also mesh venting located underneath the openings at the shoulder blades. Around the elbows begins the first half of the 4-way reflectivity. It’s hard to see in the photos, but trust me, it’s there & expertly concealed. At the waist we have a kangaroo pocket with a media management system and at the back, the last half of the 360 degrees of reflectivity plus really cute rushing details. Finally, the thumbholes and cuffins on the sleeves round out this fantastic running long sleeve. I will also mention that this is made from Brushed Luxtreme, and I would wear it in 12-20 degree celcius or mid 50s- late 60s degree fahrenheit weather. Those are approximations, but what I mean is I would wear this for cool, but not absolutely frigid weather, jogging.

Fit: I found this to be a fitted true to size. While it is fitted throughout, I managed to wear it today layered over a CRB, but under a Scuba hoodie. (Don’t know what a CRB is? Check out my post on Lululemon Slang!) I didn’t find it tight in the shoulders, too short or too long. For reference, I’m 5’6.

I hope you snag one of these, there are still full size runs online, as of today.

Update: Some of these made it to Markdown! A full size run of the black, and some of the Fresh Teal ones as well. So I snagged a black one. They were marked down to $69 from a retail cost of $98.
