So, I tried Fabletics…

In 2013, when Fabletics was launched, I never had any interest in their offerings. I found the “celebrity launches1 X-brand” strategy to be overplayed and I was disillusioned with that type of approach by then. I quickly gave up and moved on, also deciding that the “membership-based” model was not for me. I even saw some murmurings online that cancelling may have required a phone call and I prefer that if I can click a button to join, I ought to be able to click a button to leave as well.

Cancelation policy screen-grabbed from Internet Archive of Fabletics website from Dec 2013
I couldn’t help but to be amused by this screenshot of an ad on Facebook for the company that I took in May of 2014

However, recently, I decided to take another look into the company after making a purchase at their brick & mortar location near me. Conveniently located next to the Athleta and just across the street from my local Lululemon, it was impossible not to notice the bright colors and fun patterns in the window display.

What I am Loving

I made my first purchase in January, 2023 and have since joined the membership- which you can now cancel online– and have been enjoying the clothes.

My first official order contained the Boost Medium Impact Sports Bra, Boost PowerHold High-Waisted 7/8th Legging, Define PowerHold Ultra HW 7/8 Legging and Forever Fleece Hooded Onesie.

It turns out I absolutely adore their Boost Medium Impact Sports Bras, and have purchased them in a plethora of bright, fun colors including “Electric Rose/ Wavy Cheetah,” “Celeste (blue)/ Classic White,” “Deep Navy/ Multi,” “Indigo/ Ultraviolet,” “Black/ Micro Dot,” “Neon Pink Tropic,” and “Spotted/ Black.”

Of course, I also love getting the matching pants and have several pairs of the Boost PowerHold High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings. They are full-coverage, high-waisted, comfy and provide a tight, reliable (don’t slide down or shift out of place(!)) fit during sweaty cardio sessions.

Pricing / Purchasing Model

As mentioned above, I do like to buy matchy-matchy items. Thankfully, my purchases are at the “member price” level and not retail. I must recommend becoming a member if you plan to make any purchases. Unfortunately, the discounts are necessary, and I personally don’t see the value at the retail price. I honestly think it is just a price set arbitrarily high in order to get you to sign up for the membership, which I have to recommend, given my perceived value of the products. They’re great, mostly, but not worth the retail price. So, my advice is that if you want to try the brand- join the membership and cancel if you decide you aren’t actually that into the clothes.

The purchasing-decision-making process is interesting at times. You accrue one credit per month, and I do enjoy getting matching pieces, so I often find myself buying one (at the “member price”), and using my credit for the other. Many people might wonder why I wouldn’t just wait a month to buy the second item, but supplies are always scarce- especially for the prettiest items- and things always sell out. So, there have been instances where I’ve purchased the pants, but missed out on the matching bra and vice versa. Their strategy seems to be always having something going on (which makes complete sense), like one week they’ll have a pretty large product drop, followed by a huge sale on older products the following week, then, maybe an influencer-backed collection the following week, then maybe a decent discount on the stuff they dropped a few weeks prior with more limited size offerings, then another new drop, then another sale… slowly marking down the old stuff until they practically give it away once sizes are especially scarce.

Yes. I said “practically give it away.” Once the season is over and things need to move out of the warehouse to make way for new offerings, Fabletics will hold a “Warehouse Sale” and items will be priced in the $10-$24 range on average. I have ordered many a legging for only $15, or tops for $10. I just ordered a cute lilac top for $10.

One more thing: I have had to make some returns. I have had an item arrive damaged. I have also had an incorrect size show up. It happens from time to time and it’s an absolute breeze to return your items. I’ve never had any return-related issues, but just a heads up that mistakes can happen, and Fabletics seems to handle them well.

The App Experience

The app is super easy to use, to order, track your orders, and set up returns. I have zero complaints, and I don’t find it clunky- except when trying to find my size in certain items. Sometimes, I filter by size and things that don’t exist in my size show up in my search results anyways. But overall, great app experience with easy navigation. I have not had to reach out to customer service ever for any problem because the app has everything I need available. They even use Happy Returns for returns and that has been a seamless experience.

TLDR

Bottom Line: Fabletics is great value at the member price. Sign up if you’re interested to get the initial offer, and see if you enjoy the clothes and the unique shopping experience. If it’s not for you, it’s pretty simple to cancel.

  1. Technically, JustFab had already been established in 2010, but Kate Hudson began the Fabletics offshoot and promoted it heavily at launch. She continues to hold 20% of the company in equity. ↩︎

Lululemon Like New Program

Selling to Lululemon Like New

Hello friends! I wanted to provide my thoughts on the Lululemon “Like New” Program. Basically, you bring in your used items to your nearest local store that accepts used items (search here) and they go through your old Lululemon clothes, select what they are allowed to accept and pay you in a gift card for their selections.

Honestly, from the get-go, I don’t love that they give a gift card instead of cash, but it ends up being fine with me since I know I shop there anyways, but if you don’t habitually shop at Lululemon and your used item or two were gifts then at best you can trade your gift card here.

The reason you’d want to trade your gift card in, rather than using it to shop is because if you only have a couple of used items to trade in, you’re likely not going to have enough money to buy something new, since trade-in credits are as follows:

Shirts, shorts and skirts: $5

Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Sweaters, Pants, Crops, Leggings, Dresses: $10

Large Bags: $10

Outerwear: $25

Examples of credits you’ll receive on trade-ins

So, if you bring in a jacket you paid $298 for, you’ll get $25 to spend in-store on something new. If you bring in a pair of leggings you paid $128 for, you’ll receive $10. That is, of course, if they accept your trade-in. To me, this is not worth it, unless you really don’t feel like listing your items. If your items are in good enough (like new) condition to be accepted by the program, it’s likely you’ll be able to sell them online, or at a different second-hand shop where you can, perhaps only receive comparable values, but at least leave with cash-in-hand. If you sell online, you’re likely to receive the best value for your goods. I wrote an article a long time ago about best practices for eBay that I’ll link to here. I also think Poshmark works well for Lululemon items these days and I’ve found some great deals on there myself. Also: I do have a “Sellers Series” of posts I wrote about Lululemon specifically too.

Suffice it to say that I’m disappointed with the trade-in payouts in dollar value, but am personally ambivalent about the fact that they pay you in gift cards. Fine with me, may not work for others, nuff said.

Like New Shop and Prices

Moving on now to the shopping side of the “Lululemon Like New” arena. Considering that they’re giving only approximately 10% of the retail value back when they purchase used items, the sale prices on their Like New site must be very fair. This is where I’ll say it’s hit or miss.

The first example I’ll give is of a Swiftly Short Sleeve. A very common top Lululemon has been selling for years. Currently, the price on a new one is $68. If you buy one from the Lululemon Like New website, you can get it for $39. Or, you could buy one new, but on sale at Lululemon for $49. Nothing wrong with any of these options, but I’d probably prefer to spend the extra $10 and get the new one.

However, it’s not all down side! There are some good deals I spotted here and there, but the prices are not bargain basement.

I can especially see a use case scenario for if you’re looking for something specific, you might be able to find it on the website. For example, I happen to really like the old No Limits tanks tops from back in the day. Now, mind you, there were none available in my size, but there is a modest selection of them on the website. If I were faster, or if I checked often enough, I might be able to find something I’ve been searching for (Like a Blurred Blossom Flow Y bra in a size 8 #ISO). So, this is actually a great way to use this website. You’ll end up paying for it, but at least you’ll be able to find what you’ve been looking for.

There are good deals to be found, you just have to look for a little while. I found a 105F Singlet with the scalloped edges, very pretty, $29. Maybe not the best deal ever, but fair enough and one of those pieces with the details I love.

So, at the end of the day, would I sell to the Lululemon Like New program? Only if I had exhausted all other options. So, for example, I had listed on eBay and it wasn’t moving, then I brought it to my local second hand store and they weren’t interested for whatever reason, maybe they’re over stocked on something, or what have you, the last resort for me would be to get $5 for my top on a Lululemon gift card.

Would I buy from the Lululemon Like New store is a different question. It’s unlikely that I would buy from browsing or just going on there one day and seeing what they have. However, if I go back in a week or two and they have a No Limits tank in Blurred Blossom in a size 8: I will pick it up. Because, at that point, it’s not about price, it’s about the availability of the item. Or if they have Bhakti shorts in a size 10 with the Petal Pop waistband, those will be mine. So, I guess, keep your eyes peeled if you’re on the hunt for anything.

Let me know if you have any questions! I will update you if I end up using the services at all! Have you tried it? What’s it like? Worth it? Let me know in the comments below!

My FIRST Pair of Tieks

Hello everyone!

I finally dove into the fine world of luxury-to-me ballet flats. At approximately $200 a piece, Tieks are mighty pricey, but I have seen the hype and have been wanting a pair for years now. Well, it’s Mother’s Day and this mama deserves some luxury.

I got them in the mail only a few days after ordering, so props for fast shipping! They came in a box, in a box- with a flower bow. Their signature bright blue, confetti and quality HAND-WRITTEN note adding to the ambiance of the packaging.

I ordered these in Metallic Champagne. They are really pretty. Very well-made, real leather. They even smell nice.

My only issue is that they do need to be broken in. The leather is gorgeous, but it needs stretching out a bit. At least for me it does. Let me know in the comments if this is true for you too! Or not 🙂 all opinions welcome!

The flats come with this bag in a bag, so you can store them or keep this in your purse if you want to take them off for any reason

Anyways, let me know what you think of Tieks, do you have any? I have seen some huge collections. I am not obsessed… yet… 😆 Would love to hear from you!

The NEW Blissfeel Women’s Running Shoe

I love getting mail. It’s so fun! And when I got notified that my new Blissfeel shoes had just been delivered, I excitedly ran to my front door and opened the box!

I chose black because they go with everything.

First Impressions of the Blissfeel Shoe by Lululemon

I put them on, and for me, I immediately noticed the wide toe box. However, I want to acknowledge that others, in reviews, say the toe box is small so, that may be an issue with these. You may just want to see for yourself 🙂 I heard that you may want to do a half size up. Personally, I am between sizes. So, usually, I am an 8, so for Toms and heels, I go with the 8, but with running shoes or if I happen to buy very fitted shoes (think Vibrams) I go with an 8.5. So, with these, I got the 8.5.

I was really happy to hear that they analyzed women’s feet when designing these, but I would have liked to hear more about the material used. I also hope to see them cross-sectioned one day.

Straight out of the box, they smelled a little of plastic, but that disappeared after a day or two and they also made an air(?) noise that went ‘squish’ when I walked. That also disappeared quickly.

I noticed that I could feel the arch support and that was nice: I can always use some arch support! However, some reviews state that they didn’t feel enough arch support, so it might be one of those things that you’ll need to see for yourself.

There are logos everywhere. There’s one on the back, one on the front, one on the sole, some on the aglets and one on the inside of the shoe. I am not a huge fan of that many, but the shoes are still cute.

I also want to address the shape of the tongue of the shoe. It is thin, and it did dig into the side of my foot once, but I adjusted it and that didn’t happen again. Just felt like I should call it out, given the unique shape.

I wore these for over a week- I wore them jogging, I wore them on several long walks, I wore them for regular, daily activity and the results are: They’re fine. They didn’t hurt my feet, but I prefer more cushion than what they provide.

Conclusion

I don’t love them, they’re just okay. I won’t be returning them or anything, but this morning, when I was looking at them, and at my ASICS, I chose the ASICS. They’re just more comfortable. They’re the same price. So, in the future, I will buy more ASICS.

Unfortunately, I just don’t “love” these and for the price, I’d rather buy a shoe that has more padding and is more comfortable. They are cute though, and I don’t think they’re uncomfortable, not at all, they’re perfectly fine, just not as comfortable as other comparatively priced shoes.

What do you think about these shoes!? Let me know in the comments below!

The Mirror by Lululemon Review

Hello, Curious friend!

You’re here because you’re wondering what The Mirror is all about, and if it would be worth it to add it to your home. I’ve had it for a few months, enough time to try it out- and I have some thoughts to share!

Let’s start with my experience, then I’ll go into pros and cons.

My Experience

So, I decided when I moved to my new place that one of the rooms would be a little gym for me. The central piece of it would be this Mirror. I ordered one online, using a discount code, and got free delivery & installation. It cost $1476 for the Mirror after taxes. They do offer a $42/month for 36 months option. XPO Logistics was the provider and the man who came did a great job installing it, and he took the time to show me where the power button is located- which is actually a little tricky to find. It’s located at the bottom of the Mirror, and a little to the back.

I have been using it for stretching, yoga and dance, mostly. The dance workouts are a lot of fun! Whole body stretch is perfect- it is definitely all levels appropriate and they keep the stretching dynamic so if you’re planning to do another workout after you’ll be fine. I found the yoga levels appropriate. I have been choosing beginner and intermediate depending on the day and how I’m feeling. I did want to try at least one of every class before writing my review, so I can say I’ve had the full experience, so, even though the dance, yoga and stretching sessions are my favorites, I can say that all the other classes are of equal quality.

Set up involved downloading the Mirror app, and connecting it to your wifi network. Controlling your Mirror happens exclusively through the app- it is not touchscreen. I think it’s very esthetic and looks great on the wall. When it is off, it literally just looks like a mirror. When it’s on, the resolution of the instructors is great!

PROS

The quality of the workouts is great. Exactly what I would expect from any paid service, they have qualified instructors who are entertaining when the occasion calls for it and educational throughout the sessions.

The interaction available during the live sessions is minimal, but that is to be expected. Usually they just say something encouraging to a specific user who is present in the live session. If you’re watching along or on the replay, it is not disruptive at all. However, if you are watching live, it can be nice to get a shoutout if that’s something you’re interested in. Personally, I keep my camera off. There is a black slider located at the top of the Mirror to hide your camera as well as a setting in the app itself that will turn your camera on or off. You do not need to have your camera on during live group workouts.

I appreciate the selection of workouts available. There are a lot of different sessions at different levels. When I select an intermediate level class, I can tell the difference from the beginner classes and it is typically exactly what I am looking for, skill-level and exertion-wise.

My favorite thing about the Mirror, and what sets it apart from other workout on demand platforms, including the workouts available for free on YouTube is the ease of searching and finding exactly what you’re looking for. I can go through several videos on YouTube or on other paid apps before I find exactly what I am looking for. With the Mirror, I have the ability to filter by so many different things, I usually find what I want immediately. That way, I can get my workout done and go on with the rest of my day!

As you can see from the screenshots, there are all sorts of things you can filter for. Type of workout, length, instructor, equipment needed and difficulty. So, for example, if I only have 15 minutes to work out, I want to do a quick cardio dance workout and I enjoyed Deja last time, I’ll select those options. You don’t have to select from all the drop down menus if you don’t want to. So, for example, you may not have a prefered instructor, so you don’t have to select one- The Mirror will just show you each workout that corresponds to the options you did select. This is very useful, in my opinion. Let me know what you think about this feature.

There are SO MANY workouts available. I don’t think any one person could complete all of them. And they are adding new ones all the time. When you search, in my experience, the most recently added workouts that meet your search terms are displayed first. For each workout, you’ll see “aired on” with a date that it was live. Typically, when I search, there’s a workout that’s not even a week old that matches everything I asked for.

CONS

There aren’t many “cons.” The price may be a limiting factor for some. Even with the $42/month paid for 36 month with Affirm, it is still not “cheap.” Plus you need to maintain a subscription, which is $39/month- with a minimum year-long commitment. If you want to use the Mirror, you need to have a subscription. So, basically, while a year commitment is the minimum, for so long as you own your Mirror, you’ll need to maintain the $39/month fee. This fee allows you to access the full spectrum of fitness programming offered.

Space is a huge factor. I love how, in the commercials, they show the Mirror in spaces throughout the home. Unlike Peleton, which got made fun of for only appearing in the most picturesque, pristine spaces, commercials featuring the Mirror appear to have it seamlessly existing in spaces in everyday people’s lives. Sure, there were some people who had it in their gyms, or their perfect living rooms, but there was a family in one of the ads working out in the space they had and some Mirrors in smaller areas like beside the kitchen. I think they were trying to demonstrate that the Mirror can fit into any space and any lifestyle. And it kind of can. I think it would be fine on a living room wall- and it doesn’t take up more space than any other Mirror. The space that is needed is enough for you to move around and do the exercises. So, I would suggest having enough room for the Mirror itself, then, about a yoga mat’s worth of space for working out it- maybe a foot or two wider on each side of the mat, depending on what workouts you plan to do. So, while the Mirror’s footprint is smaller than a lot of other personal fitness devices (like treadmills or stationary bikes), that doesn’t mean it does not require some amount of space. And you could always move things around a bit for when you’re working out vs when it is dormant. That’s up to you. I keep mine in my gym.

This next “con” is a me-problem, but this is a me-blog post, so I’m gonna write about it anyways- I have a barre at home and I wish they had Barre workouts that use a barre instead of a chair, but when I asked, they tweeted back

And of course, that’s fair- I am just hoping that they do demonstrate with a barre one day. Just a preference, and not really a “con” I guess. I am glad they use something that will work for everyone, but why not switch it up sometimes? When I took barre, we leaned on and pulled the barre in ways that a chair might not support but the barre classes on the Mirror have a lot of other similarities to ones that I am familiar with. Probably gone on long enough, just wanted to point it out, I guess.

Anyways, what do you think about the Mirror? I’m especially curious about what you think about the pricing structure- is it too expensive? Just right? It ain’t cheap, but I want to know what y’all think.

No Sale Today at Lululemon in-store (International Women’s Day 2023)

Update for 2023

No sale this year either. I guess they’re not doing it anymore, but that won’t stop me from checking 😉

UPDATE FOR 2022

No sale this year either, just FYI. However, Lululemon’s new shoes will be online today, so there’s something exciting to look forward to! Preview them today, buy on March 22nd!

2021

Hey guys, quick post since I am on the move, but there is no additional percentage off at Lululemon for International Women’s Day this year. Just FYI since Lululemon has been doing International Women’s Day discounts for the last few years where Lululemon would give an additional percentage off equivalent to the difference between what men & women earn annually. I will update later with some links to my previous posts, but just wanted to let y’all know that there is no sale at Lululemon today.

Update: As promised, I’m no longer out & about, so here are a couple links to previous International Women’s Day posts:

Lululemon Mask Review

Hello Internet Friends!

I just wanted to take a quick sec to talk about Lululemon’s face masks designed for comfort and protection during your day, and I guess at night too, if you should so happen to be out somewhere.

Originally, I had actually wanted to feature these in my most recent “What’s New” post, BUT they basically sold out immediately. And I can’t just tell you to go BUY something that is sold out! So, since I was lucky enough to snag some, I decided to tell you my thoughts on them- That way, when they come back in stock, you’ll be able to know immediately whether these are for you or not 🙂

First off: the fabric is soft and comfy. It’s called “Ultralu” and sort of feels like a cross between Luon and Nulu. Not as soft as Nulu, but softer than Luon, imo.

I appreciate the adjustable straps. Able to create a moderately firm seal around the face. Some air still does come up around the eye. (ie: my glasses fog a little still, but actually less than the “straps around the ear style” masks)

Other than those couple of points, I think your mileage may vary is appropriate here. These are “one size fits all” masks. The ones I bought fit me pretty well, and I would say are maybe even a touch big. One more thing: Sometimes the nose part ‘collapses’ inward. (See photo 4) This doesn’t affect the usefulness, but may affect the feel of the mask. I think I need to do some more “fitting” work with mine to figure out how to keep the nose part ‘popped’ out at all times, but I am satisfied with the product.

Have you purchased these masks? What do you think about the fit/fabric/quality? Let me know in the comments or Tweet me 🙂 Love to chat Lulu with you!

What’s New with Lulu? | Lululemon’s Newest products!

Lululemon has dropped some gorgeous stuff this week. (There were some pretties last week too! Sometimes Lulu releases the cutest stuff right after the holidays!) I couldn’t help myself and I ordered a couple of things. I also decided I HAVE TO write about this.

Align Tank and Align Pants

The Align tank in Diamond Dye Light Sage Army Green Dark Olive is kind of gorgeous. I love the color and pattern. I really like the diamond dyes overall. They have the Align pants in Diamond Dyes too. They’re Nulu. The softest thing ever.

Also: black is nice

Align Pants in Diamond Dye Pitch Grey Graphite Grey

Does anyone else love the Submarine color? New pretty Energy bras make me smile.

We have to talk about the Love Revealed Bra and Love Revealed Tight. These are right up my alley. So beautiful! I love love love the rainbow space dye look!!!

For sure gonna get the pants, may or may not pick up the bra. Let me know what you think in the comments about these.

Of course, I have to highlight my beloved Ready To Rulu pants. There are a lot of gorgeous colors available right now.

The bottom one in Neon Tweed Jacquard HTR Battleship Electric Coral is my favorite: I ordered it, and it’s not here yet, but it will be soon! The color looks pretty sort of like the one on the Love Revealed collection.

Really interested in this Quilted Vinyasa Scarf. Looks interesting. I like the gold buttons, but I really want to touch the fabric to see what it’s like. Even though it looks cute & warm, I need my scarves to be cozy and comfy. It’s 100% Polyester and DWR treated, so probably not going to be super soft, but I am open to being surprised. If I decide to pick it up or see it in store, I’ll edit this post & let you know!

Let me know what you think about these post-holiday offerings overall. If you ever want to chat Lululemon or blogging or whatever, definitely find me on Twitter @LululemonExpert 🙂

WMTM: Over 300 To Choose From!

Hello Fellow Unicorns and regular human alike!

There is a pretty huge sale going on at Lululemon right now with over 300 items to choose from. I was navigating through them all, and there are some amazing things on there, and of course, some things that may be destined to appear at the Outlets in the future.

So, without further adieu, here are my favorites from the sale section right now.

Let it Flourish Ankle Socks

Ok, so they’re not the most exciting thing on the list, but I have a few pairs of these and they are so comfy and they look great in person. Also: they’re half off at $9.

Light Locks Scrunchie

Tried and tested by yours truly, I own quite a few of the Light Locks scrunchies and have only had one of them break- after over 3 years. I think these are soooo cute! They’re the perfect size of scrunchie and the edges are reflective! I bought these two (Dark Prism Pink and Lavender Dusk) but they also have “Springtime,” “Poco Logo Foil White,” and “Lemon Vibe.”

The Towel

I love The Towels! They protect your mat from sweat, and if you do sweat a lot (or practice hot yoga) this can literally save your mat from icky stains and from general wear and tear. I feel like I have been able to keep my mat going and going because I keep a “The Towel” on top of it during my practice. Another thing I do is, if I don’t have a sweat towel nearby, I will wipe my brow by picking up the corner of my The Towel while it is on top of my mat as I am doing yoga. It is not the most elegant solution, but I’d rather use my towel than my arm or my tank top. I am considering getting this one just for the color. It’s called Floral Shift Multi. It’s soooo pretty- and on sale! $29 down from $42.

Align Short 6″ in Formulate Emboss Black

I love the embossed, sort of ‘wet’ look on these. I especially like that they are high rise and go about half way down the thigh on my 5’6 frame. I own a few pairs of the 6″ Align shorts and may pick these up at this price. $39, marked down from $58.

Light Merino Wool Sweater

This looks so comfy & classic. I love the “Savannah” color. It’s also available in black. Black is $69, marked down from $98. Savannah is $59.

Fast & Free Backpack

I love these Fast & Free backpacks! I bought the black one (and the blue one) and it is perfect for jogging with! A fantastic deal at $49, marked down from $128.

Crushed Velvet Everythang

I know. I know! This is not everyone’s cuppa tea. But I kind of LOVE all things crushed velvet. I have a pair of the Aligns, the Wunder Unders and the Ready to Rulu pants…. with another on the way 😉 I just love it. So, here’s a couple of the pieces that are on sale since it is after the holidays.

Warm Restore Sherpa Pullover

This looks sooooo cozy! Plus, it is marked down from $154 to $69 and I love a good deal. They have it in black, Savannah, Gold Buff and Army Green, pictured below.

Pack It Down Vest + Brave The Cold Vest

As a general rule: I have never met a vest I didn’t like. The winters were in Memphis are usually fairly mild, and even though this year is an exception, I can usually find several Autumn and Winter days where a vest will do just nicely. Pack it Down for $69. Or, Brave the Cold for $99.

Brave the Cold for Another Mile and be a Winter Warrior!

Now, might also be a great time to invest in a Winter jacket! There are a few on sale, nearly half off!. Left to right: Brave the Cold, down from $298 to $169. Another Mile $139, from $228. Winter Warrior Parka $249, from $448.

There you have it! Those are my picks out of the over 300 items on WMTM. Let me know what you think in the comments & I you would like to be notified when I post don’t forget to sign up! WordPress will send you an automated email when I post if you sign up 🙂

Thanks for reading, y’all are the bestest!

Lululemon Boxing Day 2020

Hello! Been a while, miss you, but here’s the tea.

Every year, on December 26th, I go to Lululemon and check out their Boxing Day deals. This year is not any different- except there were a few extra steps due to Covid. Honestly, I appreciated the reduced number of people inside, since I was able to see everything without people on either side of me. But those are just the realities of a good sale, so I can’t blame the people for wanting to check out all the great deals!

Anywho, this year, the deals in store and online are decent. Many of the prices in-store appear to the the same as online. I did see one of my beloved Fast & Free backpacks for $69, which is the same price as available online.

I saw a few other deals, a lot of the Special Edition stuff was on sale. All the Crushed Velvet is on sale, and prices are the same as online for what I saw. But there are a couple of things sold out online that I saw in-store. Energy bras were the same price as online.

I was extremely tempted by the Down For It All jacket at half price, but I am so into other brands for jackets and have adopted a completely different winter style of jacket right now that I decided that I would probably not even wear it if I bought it. … not that that always stops me from buying things from Lululemon, if I’m being honest, but, this time! I decided I didn’t need it. Same price as online too. So, I guess I can change my mind and buy it later 😉

Found Scuba Joggers, the plain ones (not Sherpa Stripe) that appear to be sold out online for $99, but not interested due to the fit (not as flattering as other warm pants I own), saw Align crops for $59 and Align pants for $69, which appear to be the same price as online.

So, I guess the bottom line is this: Overall, the sale prices online appear to be the same as in-store. There may be left over inventory in-store that is no longer available online and that may be on sale. Other than that, the deals are the same.

I hope you have found this useful! If you’re curious as to what I have been up to, I wrote a post on my personal blog at www.shannonvlogs.com
