Invigorate High-Rise Short 10″ Review

Hello fellow internet people! Hope you’re doing well today! I got these Invigorate High-Rise Shorts a few weeks ago and I have some thoughts.

Overall, these shorts are okay. I think that the person who would like these shorts is someone tall, with slender thighs, who intends to use them for spin class. I really like that they’re high-rise and effectively hide my mommy tummy. However, there are some things about these shorts that I am not fond of that I discuss below. I got mine in Heathered Black Currant, and I know now, that I was definitely drawn in by this color. They also come in Chianti, Cassis, True Navy and Black.

The first thing I don’t love about these shorts is that because I have thick thighs, the bottom of the shorts can dig in a little. That actually doesn’t bother me too much, but I think it’s important to call out. What does bug me though, is that even though these are very long, they can still ride up on me. It’s kind of odd that they will ride up after walking for a little while, and that can become inconvenient, since I have to pull them down. Maybe these just aren’t made for me, but after using them a few times, I can confidently say that I have shorts from Lululemon that I prefer that are in the longer range that don’t ride up like these do. I don’t want the problem to sound horrendous, but I do find myself stopping from time to time to pull them down. It could just be my body-type, but I don’t think I’ll be buying another pair of these.

I did find them otherwise true to size, just a little tight at the bottom hem.

Have you tried these shorts? What are your thoughts?
