WMTM: Over 300 To Choose From!

Hello Fellow Unicorns and regular human alike!

There is a pretty huge sale going on at Lululemon right now with over 300 items to choose from. I was navigating through them all, and there are some amazing things on there, and of course, some things that may be destined to appear at the Outlets in the future.

So, without further adieu, here are my favorites from the sale section right now.

Let it Flourish Ankle Socks

Ok, so they’re not the most exciting thing on the list, but I have a few pairs of these and they are so comfy and they look great in person. Also: they’re half off at $9.

Light Locks Scrunchie

Tried and tested by yours truly, I own quite a few of the Light Locks scrunchies and have only had one of them break- after over 3 years. I think these are soooo cute! They’re the perfect size of scrunchie and the edges are reflective! I bought these two (Dark Prism Pink and Lavender Dusk) but they also have “Springtime,” “Poco Logo Foil White,” and “Lemon Vibe.”

The Towel

I love The Towels! They protect your mat from sweat, and if you do sweat a lot (or practice hot yoga) this can literally save your mat from icky stains and from general wear and tear. I feel like I have been able to keep my mat going and going because I keep a “The Towel” on top of it during my practice. Another thing I do is, if I don’t have a sweat towel nearby, I will wipe my brow by picking up the corner of my The Towel while it is on top of my mat as I am doing yoga. It is not the most elegant solution, but I’d rather use my towel than my arm or my tank top. I am considering getting this one just for the color. It’s called Floral Shift Multi. It’s soooo pretty- and on sale! $29 down from $42.

Align Short 6″ in Formulate Emboss Black

I love the embossed, sort of ‘wet’ look on these. I especially like that they are high rise and go about half way down the thigh on my 5’6 frame. I own a few pairs of the 6″ Align shorts and may pick these up at this price. $39, marked down from $58.

Light Merino Wool Sweater

This looks so comfy & classic. I love the “Savannah” color. It’s also available in black. Black is $69, marked down from $98. Savannah is $59.

Fast & Free Backpack

I love these Fast & Free backpacks! I bought the black one (and the blue one) and it is perfect for jogging with! A fantastic deal at $49, marked down from $128.

Crushed Velvet Everythang

I know. I know! This is not everyone’s cuppa tea. But I kind of LOVE all things crushed velvet. I have a pair of the Aligns, the Wunder Unders and the Ready to Rulu pants…. with another on the way 😉 I just love it. So, here’s a couple of the pieces that are on sale since it is after the holidays.

Warm Restore Sherpa Pullover

This looks sooooo cozy! Plus, it is marked down from $154 to $69 and I love a good deal. They have it in black, Savannah, Gold Buff and Army Green, pictured below.

Pack It Down Vest + Brave The Cold Vest

As a general rule: I have never met a vest I didn’t like. The winters were in Memphis are usually fairly mild, and even though this year is an exception, I can usually find several Autumn and Winter days where a vest will do just nicely. Pack it Down for $69. Or, Brave the Cold for $99.

Brave the Cold for Another Mile and be a Winter Warrior!

Now, might also be a great time to invest in a Winter jacket! There are a few on sale, nearly half off!. Left to right: Brave the Cold, down from $298 to $169. Another Mile $139, from $228. Winter Warrior Parka $249, from $448.

There you have it! Those are my picks out of the over 300 items on WMTM. Let me know what you think in the comments & I you would like to be notified when I post don’t forget to sign up! WordPress will send you an automated email when I post if you sign up 🙂

Thanks for reading, y’all are the bestest!

WMTM Gems

Hello 🙂 Hope you’re doing well today! We all know how much I love a good sale! Here are some things I found on WMTM that I love and/ or am contemplating picking up at these prices.

Brunch And Back Dress

This dress it so chic-looking. I kind of don’t know if I could pull it off, but I really love the way she looks in it. Maybe it’s just her confidence, but- she looks like I would want to feel rocking this dress. CoolMax, ribbed sides and a slightly-open back round out the visual features of this dress. Now $89, marked down from $118, on Lululemon’s WMTM and available in all sizes. Available in black shown here, and Chianti.

Emerald Long Sleeve

The next item I want to share is this Emerald Long Sleeve. I love the way these fit, they’re very comfy-loose which is a preference trend I’ve noticed for myself during this time. I want something that fits, and is flattering, but not too tight when I’m working around the house. I love the striped one– (Cut Back Stripe White Black) is currently available in sizes 0-12. The other color on WMTM, True Navy, is only available in size zero.

All Yours Hoodie

Ok, so apparently Spring is coming. But here in Tennessee, for some reason- the weather has not indicated that Spring is yet here, so I have found myself reaching for things like my Perfectly Oversized Crew and basically anything in Rulu. Hence, why I found myself looking at the All Yours Hoodie in this pretty pink- in which I already have a Sculpt tank and Sleek Performance Hoodie– Magenta Glow. This sweatshirt features a Kangaroo Pocket, Hidden Media Cord Exit and a Loop for easy hanging. It’s also available in Algae Green.

Wunder Train Tights

These high-rise, 25″ long tights are perfect for workouts. More durable than Luon, the Everlux fabric allows for greater sweat-wicking and still feels soft to the touch. I really like this Digital Oasis White Multi color. It reminds me a bit of the collab they did with Central Saint Martins in 2018. I got all three of the Wunder Unders in that pic and I am not mad about it.

Ready To Rulu Pants

Of course, we all know how much I love the Ready to Rulu pants, and I would be remiss to not mention them here. I love my Garnet ones, currently on sale here for $79. Night Diver is a deep teal, and Vapor– the ones I currently have my eye on- are a light grey, or off-white-type of color. These are the most comfy pants ever. I wear them all the time- everywhere. I have even worn them to work, which may or may not be advisable, but I did it. (note: I am not currently working)

Align Pant 28″

I know, I know. I do have a love/hate relationship with the Aligns. If you’ve ever seen me talk about these, I always mention the pilling. If you wear these, multiple times, they will start pilling on you. Note: if they do, check out my post about how to help injured Lululemon. The best part about Aligns is their softness. This, however, can make them prone to pilling. This is something to be aware of- and it is why I only buy Aligns if I really like the color. These, however, on sale for $79, and pretty pastel pink as can be, have easily caught my attention. I love the high waist, the color, and they do look buttery soft, like my other Aligns. They’re also on sale in Tidewater Teal with most sizes available as I write this.

That’s all for now! Let me know what your picks are! Have you been getting anything on WMTM lately?

Lululemon Sale Section has SO MANY Goodies this week!

Hello Friends!

I just want to take some time today to tell you about some of the goodies on We Made Too Much -ie: Lululemon’s Sale Section!

I mentioned these in my previous post– and I actually didn’t think the black ones would go on sale, but there is a FULL size range in the black and the Garnet, if you’re interested- how exciting! I am tempted by the garnet! Note: As far as I can tell, all the Lunar New Year stuff is on sale, so check it out!

I kind of love these, but I literally can’t think of any scenario where they might be appropriate… but I still love them? And they are the VELVET Wunder Unders. I love them in all the colors- except Adobe… which happens to be marked down the most, so clearly I’m not alone in my assessment. But here they are in Black and Garnet and Spanish Oak!

The Velvet Aligns, however, I already have in black, and am considering getting the Garnet. Because they are not velvet all over, and just have that one stripe, I feel like I can kind of get away with wearing them anywhere 🙂

The Mapped Out High Rise Tights are also on the markdown rack in Laguna, Black and Black/ Florid Flash. I have these in Laguna and they are so comfortable, to me they have that classic “nothing on” feel to them (in term of softness!) and they move with you. I really like them, but some people in the reviews are saying they are made small. Personally, I did buy my regular size, but you might want to check these out in-store!

The Rest Less pullovers are on sale! If you don’t have one, I definitely recommend them! I have a few from previous years and they are great for layering. They have such a classic “I’m going skiing” cut to them- Okay, so I’m not sure if that is really “a thing” or not, but that’s the vibe they give me. Of course, of all the colors on sale, I really only like the Lavender, since I literally can’t keep White clean and the others just aren’t calling to me.

The Invigorate Bra! Yessssss! I have a few of these- which I definitely also bought on sale- and I love them. I only buy these and Energy bras, these days, although I do have a few other bras in my collection, these are the two styles I’m loving lately. Here is the cutest one in Wee Are From Space Jet Set Blue Night Tide/Night Diver– Side note: Where are all the Space Dyes of late!? I miss them so much!

There are a few wraps and ponchos on sale, but I really like the Sit In Lotus Wrap. There are still plenty of colors to choose from- and it really, really looks like they actually made too much considering the vast range of sizes and colors available. I really like this in the Lavender Dusk color, and Heathered Dark Olive is cute too. Ugh. If I was still working full time (insert shameless I’m a full-time mommy for now , follow me on Twitter, plug here) I would love to keep this in a desk drawer for cold days at the office. So effortless, très chic! PS: Why is the air conditioning at offices allllllways at like 100%?

There are also some Scuba hoodies on sale- I don’t buy a lot of these (they don’t hold their value well when it comes to re-sale, but that’s a whole nother topic for another day), but I did get one: The Polar Lights Blue Multi and I like the Frozen Vista Alpine White Multi… so, I’ll put that on the maybe list.

I am SO into the Reveal 1/2 Zip Aurora long sleeve tops! I love it in both the black and the Larkspur! Ugh! Why do there have to be so many pretties to choose from!?

Anyways, sale section on Lululemon.com is strong today! I think this is where I’ll stop, but there are plenty more adorable things on sale online this week & definitely worth taking a gander if you haven’t popped into the WMTM section lately. Let me know in the comments if you see anything you like!

As always, thank you for reading & I hope you’re having an amazing day!

We Made Too Much Predictions

Hello everyone!

Hope your day is going super! I just wanted to take some time to talk about the most recent upload and recently uploaded items. This post is going to talk about my predictions for what will go on sale. Disclaimer: I am not clairvoyant. I can not actually tell you what will go on sale, some of the things I predict will go to WMTM will actually just end up in the outlets. Also, some may not end up on sale at all. In addition, these are just MY opinions. What I think will make it to WMTM is not even necessarily a reflection of the attractiveness of the item and I explain my reasoning for each below. So, if you like an item, go ahead and buy it! Who knows!? Maybe I am wrong and it will become a coveted Unicorn!

This is being written before Tuesday evening, which means that by the time you read this these items may not be the very most recently uploaded.

The first item that I predict will end up on markdown is the “Easy As” jacket. It comes in Dark Olive, Midnight Navy & Black. It’s made from Glyde fabric which is water repellent. At $168, for what is a very plain-looking jacket, in my opinion, it isn’t worth it. I will not be surprised when I see this on markdown.

The second item I predict will make it to the sale rack is the NTS Jacket. The fabric on these jackets actually feels nice, but to me, the shape is not as flattering as many of the other offerings that Lululemon has. This jacket also looks a little short on the models, although, they may be 5’10 or taller even, given the industry. To sum this jacket up: It looks boxy. It retails for $128. I think they can knock off $30, sell it for under $100, and still make a decent profit.

The next item in my WMTM prediction list is this Sole Training Short Sleeve *UV Protection. This, in my opinion, is actually a really pretty T-Shirt. However, I also think it is slightly overpriced. I will not be surprised to see it on sale for $15- $20 less than its current retail of $68.

The next WMTM prediction is the Smooth Stride bra. Many of Lululemon’s non-core collection bras end up on the sale rack, so I feel like this is a really safe prediction for at least a $10 savings. The Smooth Stride retails for $58. I am especially optimistic in terms of it ending up on sale for this bra in the Henna color (bottom of photo), and I also feel safe predicting that most other (if not all other items) in this Henna color will end up on the sale rack. My opinion is that it is too close to a flesh tone for many would-be buyers.

The final item I predict will end up in WMTM are the Reveal 7/8th Crops. These are pretty cute, actually, but the mesh, that is shown in the right-most photo looks large and therefore fragile, in my opinion. I can see it now, one day, I’m walking along in my Reveal crops, the next, something gets snagged on those large holes. Additionally, I feel that the mesh is overdone in these and by Lululemon lately in general. But for the mostpart these scream fragile to me, and I just can’t afford $118 tights that I’m afraid to wear.

What do you think will make it to WMTM? Let me know in the comments! Do you agree with my predictions? Disagree? I would love to hear from you!

May 17, 2017 UPDATE

I found the Easy As jacket on sale for $129

I found the NTS jacket on sale for $79

Also spotted the Smooth Stride bra for $34

Boxing Day at Lululemon

Hello again, everyone!

Once more: I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally have time to write again! Anyways, this year, as with every year, I went to Lululemon to find Boxing Day Deals! I didn’t come away with much, but overall, WMTM online and in-store was a bore. Maybe I’m harder to impress given how long I’ve followed and loved the brand, but this winter’s offerings were too bland. I can’t wait until the new Spring colors arrive. Plus, there was a general lack of Bordeaux Drama this winter- replaced by the slightly more purple, and less red “Darkest Magenta.” I bought something in this color, but it doesn’t excite me as much as Bordeaux Drama. Bordeaux Drama is my favorite fall color!

Bordeaux Drama vs Darkest Magenta

Anyways, I know that Lululemon puts out more black, grey and white- rather than colorful items- for the holidays, so that people will be confident that they can purchase the items for other people without knowing their favorite colors. Everyone likes neutrals, right? The other thing about that is, that given Lululemon’s extended return policy during the holidays, that if people return items the colors won’t clash on the racks. They don’t want to have one bright pink legging among a sea of black, nor do they want to have one purple, one  pink, one blue, etc… Therefore, the more muted and neutral they can keep the fall/ winter palette between the beginning and end of the extended return period, the less likely they’ll have to put something on sale just because it looks terrible on the rack next to all the other items. Given this, it leaves much to be desired by myself, a long-time, regular customer. I have black Wunder Unders. I have a black CRB. I have black sweaters. I have black Rulu tops… So, unless they’re coming out with a Space Dye or a new Ziggy Wee, I am not drawn in. I did like some of the Shibori items, and the Fairisle stuff is cute, but there’s not enough POP! in most of the colors. Although, I did end up getting a pair of In the Flow pants in shibori darkest magenta black.

Anyways, I heard that WMTM online was good for a bit, but I didn’t check until about two hours after it dropped, so, maybe I missed all the good stuff, but I checked my local store and picked up a couple of items. One item I was surprised to see on the sale rack was a pair of black In the Flow crops. Rarely do plain black items go on sale at Lululemon, so I guess I got lucky. The other thing that I saw was a pair of the Ready to Rulu pants that I was raving about earlier this year. I was debating buying the very pair I spotted on sale earlier when they first came out because I figured that that color, Running Luon Spray Jacquard White Black, would likely go to WMTM because it was similar to other colors that had gone on sale in previous years. I don’t know about you, but I’m not crazy about paying full price only to see items go to WMTM. So, I decided to wait. Glad I got lucky and I was able to pick them up on Boxing Day! It’s worth mentioning, however, that this color is not as soft as the others.

Seva Sweater Fit Report

I wasn’t planning to write this post, but I noticed that the Seva Sweater is in We Made Too Much (Lulu’s sale page), so I wanted to add my voice, in case you were planning to pick it up- or thinking about it. I had checked it out last week in-store and tried it on because I thought it looked interesting. I knew I would never pay full price. Every year Lulu comes out with a sweater that looks something like this, and every year it ends up in WMTM. In any case, I took some photos and I hope someone can benefit from them. The color I chose was Black Cherry- in addition to that one, Heathered Medium Grey and Almost Blue are also in WMTM, as of this writing. They were originally priced at $108 and are now $69.

My Thoughts on the Seva Sweater

Two words: Merino Wool. This is a very soft, very cozy sweater. It feels amazing on- and the weight was nice too. Very comfortable as a layer.

This sweater feels really nice on, but it doesn’t really look fabulous. In fact, I strongly considered not posting this picture due to the unflattering nature of this sweater.

Ok, so, maybe it’s not that bad, but it definitely deserves to be in WMTM.

My favorite part about this sweater, if I may, are the thumb holes. They’re inconspicuous when not in use, but are available.
